Kale Chips Recipe
Seasoning of your choice
Place kale on cookie sheet (We use a stone cookie sheet) in single layer
Sprinkle olive oil over the kale chips. Do not saturate the kale. You need to evenly distribute the oil over the kale. The oil holds the seasoning on the kale.
Once you have it evenly distributed, add seasoning of your choice. I prefer garlic salt and seasonal salt. Season to taste. This will take time to perfect.
Place cookie sheet in 300 degree oven for 14-20 minutes. Kale will darken in color. The darker the kale the dryer this will make it. Since we cook the kale on a stone cookie sheet using a convection oven we usually only need around 14 minutes. A regular oven may take the full 20 minutes. You will have to test this to see if you like yours a little moister or a little dryer.
I would like to tell you how to store the kale but in our house it is gone before the stone cools. It gets eaten right off the hot stone. Enjoy.
