But do we plan too much? Do we really need to make a New Year Resolution?
We plan our days from morning until night. We know what we are doing, when, why and how long.
Jeremiah 29: 11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end.
God tells us in Jeremiah 29: 11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end.” Do we leave room for God to work in our lives? Do we try to take control? Do we allow Him to be our Pilot! Of course we should be organized. It helps our days run smoothly. As a mom to 8 I am always happy to wake up to a clean house and kitchen. I am talking about allowing God to lead you in 2015 in your daily walk. In your spiritual walk. In your walk as a mother. In your walk as a wife.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will harken unto you. And ye shall see me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart
In Jeremiah 29:12-13, God also tells us to call upon Him. In 2015 I would like to wake every morning to prayer and calling upon God instead up picking up my cellphone or tablet to check my messages. Leaning of God and his plan involves calling upon Him. God tells us when we search for Him with all our heart we will see Him and find Him. What better way to spend 2015 then with prayer as the start of our days and God leading us all through the year.
God Bless and Happy New Year!
